Also from another recent customer- "I ordered the Veggie Burrito off of their

off, their "vegetarian" black beans contained pork. Please be very cautious if
you decide to eat here." Thanks, Eric!

"Their tortillas, black beans, rice, guacamole and salsas (hot, medium
corn and mild) are vegan. They actually run some in-store ads stating that these
items are 100% animal ingredient free, which I find very refreshing and should
be commended. I also, know the manager of the GIlbert location and he assured me
of this as well." Thanks for this info, Jeremiah !

They do not use lard/animal fat and feature tofu as a meat alternative for
tacos/burritos/fajitas when combined with black/pinto beans, guacamole, rice,
salsa, etc.
On The Border Mexican Grill
& Cantina
they have really good veggie tacos and a spinach and mushroom enchilada (not
vegan friendly, has cheese) also order black beans instead of
refried beans which are cooked in pig fat.
The rice is not vegetarian (chicken broth). Anything
on a fajita plate is cooked on a butter. Safest is grilled veggies (oil)
in anything. I like the BYOB, Build Your Own Burrito. You get to pick and
choose what you want in the burrito. Tell the waiter that you want grilled
veggies cut up in the burrito not sautéed veggies. (Cross out the cheese and
write no cheese. ) Ranchero sauce is vegan.

that, most of our other products contain lard or dairy. "
